Must read the story written by Jyoti Prati. He turned out to be very loyal.
A two-year-old movie was playing in the mind of Mrs. Sinha in flashback. He was remembering the day when Kalu had come to his house for the first time in heavy rain.
It was 11 o'clock in the night. It had been raining continuously for the last two hours and there was no sign of it stopping.
When Mrs. Sinha came to lock the door, she saw a dog sitting on the pedestal on the door. His heart was filled with compassion.
She immediately started arranging a jute bag. Also heated the milk.
Sinha ji was watching all these activities.
He said, what is all this happening?
Mrs. Sinha brought out the bag and milk without saying anything and Sinha ji followed her.
Mrs. Sinha said in a humour, let us also spend the night here.
Without saying anything with wide eyes, Sinha ji looked at him with a questioning look.
No! Feeling one's own pain is the proof of being alive. But feeling the pain of others is the proof of being human. Mrs. Sinha said.
She got busy in feeding the dog sitting on the bag and cuddling.
And after that day, Kalu became an important part of his life. After roaming throughout the day, he used to come to his permanent place.
and yes ! Milk, bread and protection of the mistress's house also used to come in his account.
For a few days, Kalu had spoiled his habits. After all, it was a carnivorous animal.
Don't know from where he came after eating a lot of meat and started making the house dirty which was passing exasperated to Mrs. Sinha, a pure vegetarian.
On the one hand, love for that creature, but the filth of that non-vegetarian cannot be loved, right!
Eventually Mrs. Sinha, taking a tough decision, got her released along with her domestic servant in a distant forest.
The next twenty four hours were spent in great sorrow for Mrs. Sinha.
But when he woke up the next morning and opened the door, he saw Kalu coming to his place and sitting comfortably.
Mrs. Sinha looked at him with astonishing eyes, thinking, "In today's time people end their relationship in small things, for a few rupees, for a little land. Dog is the only animal that can make you yourself. loves more than that."
Mrs. Sinha was caressing her and she closed her eyes.
