Government jobs for 10th-12th and graduate: bumper recruitment in 12 departments, selection will be done by written test; 43 years old candidates can apply.

Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued notification to fill 772 vacancies in various government departments.  Under this, recruitment is being done for Assistant, Computer Assistant, Inspector, Mechanic, Electrician, Driver, Rent Collector and other posts.  The process to apply has started from August 14 and will continue till September 14.  Eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website https://jkssb.nic.in/.

Recruitment in 12 government departments

 Through this recruitment process, 772 posts in 12 different government departments will be filled.  The educational qualification for these posts is different according to the post.  Candidates who have done 10th, 12th and B.Sc and ITI will be able to apply according to the posts.

Age limit is different according to category

 To apply for these posts of JKSSB, the age limit is fixed according to the category.  For the unreserved category, it has been fixed at 40 years while for the reserved category the age limit has been fixed at 43 years.  Ex-Servicemen will be able to apply for these posts till the age of 48 years.

Selection will be done by written test

 The selection on these posts will be done through written test which will consist of objective type questions.  Along with this skill/physical test will also be conducted for some posts.

Know Application Fee

 To apply for these posts, the general category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 550.  Whereas SC / ST, PWD and EWS categories will have to submit the application fee of Rs 450 in online mode.
